IXL Elementary has received a boost thanks to Lowe’s of Ponca City and the company’s Lowe’s Hometown Project, a community initiative that gives back to schools and neighborhoods across the region.
On Oct. 16, a team of Lowe’s volunteers joined forces to complete upgrades for IXL students and staff. From fresh playground games and outdoor activities to new appliances that support daily operations, their efforts will have a lasting impact on the school community.
IXL staff expressed gratitude for the volunteers’ generosity and teamwork throughout the day.
The district offered a special to Chartwells K12 for providing lunch for all the volunteers.
