Boys
The Ark City High School boys basketball team jumped out to a 23–17 lead after one quarter against Eisenhower at Bulldog Gymnasium, shooting 75 percent early, but the Tigers got 28 points and 11 rebounds from Roman Harper and outscored the Bulldogs by 20 the rest of the way in a 69–55 win.
Jaxon Jackson and Cruz Retana scored 15 points apiece for the Bulldogs, who fall to 4–11. Eisenhower improves to 7–8.
The Bulldog basketball teams will play at Goddard on Friday.
Girls
Eisenhower used a strong shooting night to pull away from Ark City in a 56–27 win over the Bulldogs at Bulldog Gymnasium, dropping Ark City to 4–11. The Tigers improve to 11–4.
Mallori Rose led Eisenhower with 26 points as the Tigers went 10 of 19 from three-point range. Gracie Phillips led Ark City with eight points, and Ava Headrick pulled down 11 rebounds.
