The Belle Plaine Community Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2026 Quality Citizen Award.
The annual award recognizes an individual or organization dedicated to serving and enhancing the quality of life in Belle Plaine. Nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, March 10.

The Belle Plaine Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Legacy Regional Community Foundation, was founded in 1996 to provide a way for local residents to make charitable gifts supporting the community. The foundation distributes between $35,000 and $40,000 each year for local scholarships, projects and programs.
Board members include Chair Julie Gooch, along with Stacy Davis, Deanna Dreiling, Judy Happy, Kelly Lyons, Robin Macy and Marla Morley.
