Golfers from Arkansas City, Winfield and across the area helped make another year of the annual Golfin’ for Good Sam tournament a success for Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor.

The tournament was held earlier this month at Winfield Country Club and raised more than $13,700 for the Good Samaritan program, which allows seniors at the Manor to continue living there even after exhausting their financial resources.

“After decades, this tournament has grown into something greater than a sporting event,” said Colton Kester, executive director of Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor. “It represents our shared commitment to building a stronger, more supportive community for our residents.”

Sixty golfers participated in the four-person scramble tournament.
