A City of Arkansas City employee escaped injury Tuesday after a city-owned loader tipped over while operating at the city’s F Street Limb and Compost Site.
According to the City of Arkansas City, the incident occurred at approximately 12:43 p.m. Tuesday when Arkansas City Fire/EMS and the Arkansas City Police Department were dispatched to the site following an equipment accident.
Officials said the employee was operating the loader up a steep incline when the machine tipped over. The loader came to rest against a resident’s Dodge pickup truck. Continue below ad.
No injuries were reported.
The city did not release additional information regarding the full extent of damage to the loader or the pickup.
