Jamie Jo Dillard, 48, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Born July 15, 1978, in Winfield, she was the daughter of James A. “Jim” Dillard and Diane O’Neal. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, attending Winfield High School.
Jamie was a cheerful person that spent most of her life with her father and step-mother, Melodie Dillard. She loved looking through books, and listening to music, especially 1980s music. She also enjoyed taking walks around Island Park and spending time at her Grandma McNown’s. Family gatherings and picnics were some of her favorite times.
She is survived by her step-mother Melodie Dillard of Winfield, her aunt Dee Gidden of Winfield; her uncles, Scott McNown and wife, Andrea of Winfield; Robert McNown and wife, Tami of Winfield; David McNown and wife, Faye of Bonneau, SC; and numerous cousins.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Miles Funeral Service. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Jamie’s name for the Winfield Food Pantry. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
