UPDATE 7 a.m. Wednesday: The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office reported to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) that 65-year-old Wanda Fahey was located and is now safe.
The statewide silver alert is canceled.

The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing New Mexico woman.
The whereabouts of 65-year-old Wanda F. Fahey are unknown and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.
Fahey is likely driving a Blue 2023 Ford F150 bearing New Mexico tag BPLZ46. The vehicle has a wheelchair lift in the back. She was last believed to be headed south on U.S. Highway 77, possibly into Oklahoma.
Fahey is a white female who is around 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has white hair and green eyes. Fahey has dementia.
