Anna was born on March 3, 1939, to parents Maurice and Lucille (Miller) Cheuvront. She was the fourth of seven children. She went to grade school at a one room schoolhouse near their farm south of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1957. In 1958, she married Tommy Hardin. Anna worked at Southwestern Bell telephone company in Winfield until it closed. After marriage and moving back to Oxford, she cooked at the nursing home in Oxford. Later she worked in maintenance at Southwestern College in Winfield. While working at Southwestern she took college classes in the evenings. Then she transitioned from maintenance to working in the library at Southwestern College. She left the library and enjoyed a few years working at the Oxford sand plant. Much of her career was working at the Ark City hospital as food staff, and then for 15 years she cooked at the Wellington hospital. Anna loved adventure, going on multiple trips with the “Golden Tigers.” She spent annual family vacations to the Noel Missouri area floating down the Elk River, she did this from her childhood into her early eighty’s. She would fry up multiple chickens and make bread/butter sandwiches. Yum, it was the best fried chicken. She was also known for her remarkable peach cobbler. One of Anna's biggest hobbies was birdwatching and feeding said birds (and racoons); she thoroughly enjoyed reading and keeping a garden. In early years she grew produce to can and in later years grew flowers. Anna was also fond of going on local drives looking at trees with their colorful foliage. She often watched RFD TV and loved spending time with her family and beloved grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Anna is survived by her brother: Steve Cheuvront. Children: Maurica (John) Stoabs, Melody (Bruce) White and Thomas “Jim” (Karen) Hardin. Grandchildren: Kaleb Stoabs, Kyle Stoabs, Sarah (White) Schumann, Zebulon White, Brian Hardin, and Jason Hardin. Great-grandchildren: Bailey, Avery, Cade, Oliver, Grace, Boaz, and Autumn.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Lucille Cheuvront, siblings: Marie Spoon, Rose Robinson, Genny Kuntz, Dorthy Holland, and Jesse Cheuvront.
