Stars, Stripes, Statehood, & Our Story Art Contest – The Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum invites artists of all ages to participate in a community art contest celebrating America’s 250th Birthday, Kansas turning 165 years old, and the museum’s 60th anniversary. Contest themes include the American Eagle, Kansas Sunflower, and Land Rush Claim Flag. Age divisions include Birth–10, Ages 10–18, and Adults 18+. Multiple art mediums accepted including drawing, painting, sculpture, woodworking, mixed media, digital art, fiber art, and more. Cash prizes awarded for 1st place winners.
