The AC boys battled hard in a 65-48 home loss to Salina Central. The Bulldogs trailed just 31-25 at halftime and pulled within three before being outscored 34-23 in the second half.
AC is now 6-12. Drayden Camp led the Bulldogs with 16 points.
The Bulldogs will host Andover on Tuesday.
The AC girls had their two-game win streak snapped with a 45-37 loss to Salina Central. The Bulldogs led 16-11 at halftime but were outscored 22-9 in the third quarter of the eight-point defeat.
Salina Central went 18 of 25 from the free throw line, while AC finished 9 of 25. Gracie Phillips led the Bulldogs with 14 points.
AC is now 6-12 and will host Andover on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
