Arkansas City High School’s show choir, Unleashed, delivered a strong performance at the Joplin Show Choir Invitational over the weekend, earning multiple top honors.
Competing in the 4A division, Ark City placed first overall and received the Best Closer award. The group also advanced to finals and finished as fourth runner-up against strong regional competition.
In just its second year of competition, the results mark an exciting milestone for the program. The performance reflected months of preparation and growth.
“We are proud of these students for representing ACHS and our community so well,” USD 470 spokesperson Alisha Call said.
