A 23-year-old Cowley County man was arrested early Sunday following a single-vehicle crash south of Arkansas City.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 12:10 a.m. Sunday, a deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of U.S. 77 for a reported single-vehicle accident.
Authorities said the vehicle left the scene and was later stopped in the 1200 block of Main Street.
Grant MayBrier, Winfield, was arrested on allegations of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and possession of a firearm while under the influence.
Jail records show MayBrier was booked into the Cowley County Jail around 2 a.m. and posted bond just after 11 a.m. He is no longer in custody.
