Famed “mentalist” Tom Kennedy stopped by Cowley College in Ark City last week to welcome back students.
“Keeping the audience engaged, laughing, and captivated with his hilarious improvisation, famed mentalist Tom Kennedy entertained Cowley College students on their first official day of classes Tuesday in the Robert Brown Theatre,” the college said in a press release.
Kennedy is the official mentalist for the TV show “House of Highlights,” Cowley said. He will soon be featured on an upcoming episode of Penn & Teller’s hit show Fool Us and tours colleges nationwide.
Peyton Cravens, Cowley College’s director of student life, said Kennedy’s presentation captured the students’ imagination and attention.
“Tom Kennedy was not only successful at reading the minds of our students but also at keeping the audience laughing,” Cravens said. “He had so much fun on the stage, and that truly reflected on the audience. Tom Kennedy was the perfect addition to our Welcome Week Events at Cowley.”
