A mobile home was destroyed Friday morning in a structure fire in Arkansas City.
Around 8:10 a.m., Ark City Fire/EMS was dispatched to the area of E and Spruce streets for a reported structure fire. The home was quickly consumed by flames.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. Fire personnel were on scene for about two hours.
No injuries were reported. One person was home at the time, and that individual and a household pet were able to escape safely, according to preliminary information available at the scene.
