(Photos by Brady Bauman)The long vacant Country Mart property has a new owner and plans involve a new car wash there, according to reporting from the Cowley CourierTraveler Thursday.The property was most recently owned by Brandon and Sarah Jellings of CHM Property Group, LLC. The couple, who also own and operate the Ark City Pizza Ranch location, sold the Country Mart property on South Summit to Willy’s Wash, Inc., based in Sperry, Okla.Jay Grenfield, the general manager of Willy’s Wash, Inc., told the CourierTraveler the building would be renovated to become a mini-storage facility with climate control, while the parking lot area along Summit Street would become a carwash, similar to the Willy’s Wash in Ponca City.The property has been vacant since Country Mart closed in 2018.
