Road work on North Summit in Ark City is nearing completion, according to Ark City Manager Randy Frazer Monday.
Crews from Pearson Construction began laying down new asphalt on the stretch of North Summit between Radio Lane and Kansas Avenue Monday morning. The resurfacing project began around June 1.
The project also included new sidewalk construction on the east side of North Summit along with curb work. Frazer said that work has been completed and all that is left is new asphalt and striping.
Frazer said the entire project should be completed before the end of the month.
