A winter blast of snow made Friday morning’s commute a hazardous one — especially in the northern half of Cowley and surrounding counties.
Due to the snow, Friday night’s high school basketball games in Winfield have been postponed.
The Vikings were scheduled to host Buhler.
According to WHS Athletic Director John Kaufman, the games have been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 5.
Ark City High School’s basketball games at Valley Center will be played tonight as scheduled, according to ACHS Athletic Director Aaron Bucher just before noon.
Brady Bauman will have the call starting at 6 p.m. with the girls game on 103.3 FM/1280 AM and also on the free audio stream at cowleypost.com.
