Utility work tied to an upcoming Kansas Department of Transportation project will bring intermittent lane closures to U.S. 77 near Strother Field later this week.
Utility crews are scheduled to relocate overhead lines Thursday and Friday as part of preparations for a future KDOT project in the area between Arkansas City and Winfield.
During the work, traffic on U.S. 77 will be reduced at times, with flaggers directing vehicles through the work zone. Continue below ad.
KDOT is urging motorists to remain alert, slow down and follow all posted signage while traveling through the area.
