William Newton Hospital will host a comprehensive hiring fair Tuesday, March 10, aimed at filling about 30 open positions across clinical and administrative departments.
The event will run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Physicians Pavilion Assembly Room at 1230 E. Sixth Ave., offering applicants a streamlined path to employment, including on-site interviews with hiring managers and assistance completing applications.
“William Newton Hospital is building a strong workforce to meet the growing needs of our region,” said Gigi Fergus, interim CEO. “As an established, independent healthcare provider, we offer the clinical expertise of big-city medicine combined with the personal touch and compassion of small-town care.”
Hospital officials said conditional job offers may be made on-site for qualified candidates who complete required applications and screenings. Select positions may be eligible for sign-on or relocation bonuses, and door prizes — including Chamber Checks and gas cards — will be awarded hourly.
The hospital is recruiting registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants for labor and delivery, intensive care, the emergency department and clinics. Additional openings include CRNAs, medical laboratory technicians, medical assistants and non-clinical roles in accounting, billing and coding, reception and maintenance. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and list of references.
