WINFIELD — Police are investigating an aggravated robbery reported early Sunday in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of East Ninth Ave.
Officers with the Winfield Police Department were dispatched at approximately 1:05 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, the suspect or suspects had already fled the area.
According to investigators, the victim had arranged to purchase property from the suspects. During the encounter, one suspect allegedly produced a firearm and demanded cash. The victim was allowed to exit the suspect vehicle, and the suspects then left the scene.

No injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information has been released.
