Andrea J. Warren, 74, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Born April 7, 1951, in Wichita, she was the daughter of Eddie and Barbara Joette (Holland) Quinn. She was raised and received her education in Wichita, graduating from East High School in 1969. She then attended Wichita State University, graduating in 1973 with a Bachelor degree in Education. Andrea was very involved in the Metropolitan Baptist Church and the Young Life Organization. She began her career as an Elementary School Teacher in Wichita in 1973.
Andrea was united in marriage to R. Kip Warren in June 1981. The couple made their home in Winfield. Andrea took time away from teaching while her children, Quinn and Scotty were young. She later returned to teaching in Winfield until her retirement in 2010. She loved her whippets (beloved dogs). She enjoyed running and being with her children for sporting events, including swimming, golfing, and track.
Her family includes her husband R. Kip Warren of Winfield; her children, Quinn Warren and Scotty Warren; and her best friend and cousin Marcy Snyder and husband, Dennis.
In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her brother David Quinn.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Andrea’s name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
