1941-2025

Carole Ann Bradshaw, 83, of Winfield, KS, passed away Friday, June 20, at William Newton Hospital in Winfield, KS.

A memorial service for Carole will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the GracePointe Assembly Church in Winfield, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the GracePointe Assembly Church or to the Samaritan's Purse, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield, KS.

Carole was born on November 28, 1941, in Alluwe, OK, to parents Earl and Berniece (Jordan) Reeves. Carole graduated from high school in Wichita, KS, and would later become a licensed practical nurse. Carole was married to Thomas Stewart, and after their divorce, she would marry her husband of 47 years, Larry Bradshaw, in 1978. Carole served at the Wesley Hospital in Wichita, after that the Veterans Home, and then for 30 years she worked at the State Hospital in Winfield, KS. Before retiring, she helped at the Martin Luther Homes in Winfield. When she wasn’t serving others medically, she was faithfully serving her church family at GracePointe Assembly in Winfield. Carole loved to read her Bible and pray for anyone who had a need. She loved to decorate, make crafts, and ceramics. She was an excellent cook and an even more enthusiastic “power-shopper”, when she went to the mall.

Carole is survived by her husband, Larry Bradshaw, daughters, Dana Jennings (Mark) and Jennifer Sandell, grandchildren, Joshua Jennings (Shea), Holly Jennings, Kristen Jennings, Skyler Markley, Summer Markley and Ayonna Chalmers. Great-grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholes Jennings. Sister, Linda Easley. Carole is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Earl and Bob Reeves.
