Greg Mugler
1959-2025

Gregory “Greg” Jay Mugler, 66, of Oxford, KS, passed away September 17, 2025 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice with his family by his side.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at the Gueda Springs Cemetery. Please dress comfortably, Greg always did. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Christian Church, donations may be left in the care of the Oxford Funeral Service.

Greg was born on March 26, 1959, in Manhattan, KS to parents Paul George and Margie Lee (Davis) Mugler. He graduated from Winfield High School and then attended Cowley County Community College where he earned his certification for welding. Greg worked for over 30 years as an equipment operator on the pipeline. Later in life, he worked for USD 358 as the head of the maintenance and custodial department.

On July 10, 2004, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Patty Farris. Greg enjoyed collecting diecast toys, especially model trains. He enjoyed woodworking, welding, and being creative and was an elder at the Oxford Christian Church for many years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his many grandkids. Greg will best be remembered for his unwavering smile and the ornery twinkle in his eye.

Greg is survived by his wife Patty, children Shawn Mugler (Beth), Brooks Mugler (Amanda), Autumn Mugler, Kimberly Mitchell (Ty), Laci Totten (Derek), Kristen Fox (Doug), and Katie Hendricks (Rob), grandchildren: Madison, Gracie, Braden, Anabell, Dakota, Hunter, Wesley, Ainsley, Sophia, Henry, Oliver, Reagan, and Kade, great grandchildren: T.J. and Savanna, and siblings Donna Surles, Marcy Cone and Jeff Mugler.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
