Ivan Roger Fultz, 90, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away on January 26, 2026 with his children by his side.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City. Memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice and left in the care of the funeral home.
Ivan was born on January 25, 1936, in Geuda Springs, KS, to parents Roy and Clora (Smith) Fultz. He graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1954. On June 2, 1956, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sheryl Ann Shurtz in Ark City. Ivan started working for Ranney Davis as a truck driver, and then he worked for Strother Thermo Flood as a burner for 27 years. After they closed, he transferred to the City of Arkansas City water treatment plant for 12 years before retiring in 2001. Ivan enjoyed Model trains, guns, fishing, and motorcycles.
Ivan is survived by his daughters; Terry Lasagna and husband Dennis of Mesquite, NV, Tena Williams and husband David of Arkansas City, Pamela Fountain of Derby, KS, his son, Lonnie Fultz of Santa Fe, NM; his son-in-law, Floyd Fry of Arkansas City, KS; his 2 granddaughters, Tabatha Kling and husband Nathan and Danielle Commarota and husband Anthony and his 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and daughter Sharon (Fultz) Fry, brothers Bill, Herb, and John, and sisters Fern Crane, Geraldine Crane, and Christine Milligan.
