James Gregory “Greg” Price
1966-2025

James Gregory “Greg” Price, 59, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday evening, July 14, 2025, at his home.

Born March 30, 1966, in Guin, Alabama, he was the son of James Kenneth and Mavis June (Norris) Price. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, Alabama, graduating from Winfield High School in 1984. While in school he learned to be an electrician from his stepfather.

After school Greg moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and later to Rogers, Arkansas. He worked as an electrician his entire life. In 1997, he moved to Arkansas City, Kansas, and began working for McCoy Electrical. He then worked at Finn’s Electrical before starting Price Rite Electric. He remained self-employed until his retirement in 2021.

Greg was an avid Alabama football fan, “Roll Tide.” He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out at the VFW. He absolutely loved his pitbull “Trouble”.

His family includes his children, Ashley Pogue and husband, Aubrey of Winfield, KS; Kolton Price and fiance, Teall of Winfield, KS; his brother Jason Price of Winfield, KS; and his grandchildren, Avery Pogue and Tinley Price.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by a grandson Ryder Pogue, and his beloved dog Trouble.

A visitation is scheduled on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas.

A memorial has been established in Greg’s name for Beauties and Beast in Wichita. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
