Jason L. Bailey, 48, of Winfield, KS passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Tisdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelley Family Funeral Home to defray expenses or to the Cowley County Humane Society.
Jason was born on September 8, 1976 to parents John and Pat (Snow) Bailey in Winfield, KS. He attended Trinity Lutheran grade schools then graduated from Winfield High school in 1995. Jason worked at Calmar and Schwann’s before being medically retired, he continued to work side jobs helping people, mowing, doing yard work, and being a handyman. He also coached his son’s baseball teams and his daughter’s soccer team, helping them win first place. Jason enjoyed fishing, smoking meats, playing and watching softball, watching Chiefs football and Duke basketball, and spending time with his dog G.G., but most of all he loved being with his kids and grandkids.
Jason is survived by his mother Pat Bailey, children Colton Bailey (Autumn), Cody Bailey (Amanda), Caitlin Reid (Frank), grandchildren Kinsley, Luna and Jesse, brother Jeff Bailey (Amy), and grandmother Beverly Snow.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Ernest Snow, William and Leona Bailey, and mother-in-law Janis Evans.
