Juanita M. Carr, 85, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at William Newton Hospital.
Born August 16, 1939, in Winfield, Kansas, she was the daughter of Raymond J. and Marguerite (Briles) Kuntz. She was raised and received her education in Rock and Udall, graduating from Udall High School in 1956.
She married William B. Kinder in 1957, at the Moline Christian Church. To this union, two children were born and the couple later divorced. She was united in marriage to Paul Carr in 1984, and they later divorced. Juanita worked in various positions in bookkeeping and accounting throughout her life. She worked at multiple car dealerships.
She was a member of Rock United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, astrology, playing cards, reading, and working puzzles.
Her family includes her children, Mike Kinder of Udall; Michelle Wood and husband, Craig of Augusta; her brothers, E.J. Kuntz and wife, Jackie of Wichita; Frank Kuntz of Wichita; her grandchildren, Randy Cantrell, Jessy Kinder, William Kinder; her five great grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by a sister Flossie Kinder.
Graveside services will be held at Red Bud Cemetery in Udall, under the direction of Miles Funeral Service at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Juanita’s name for the Udall Senior Center. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
