Judy L Miller, 85, went to her eternal resting place on Sunday January 4, 2026 at Cumbernauld Village in Winfield Ks.
Judy was born in Ponca City Oklahoma on November 19th, 1940 to Harold and Mary (Sebor) McMenomy, the eldest of 3 children. She attended schools in Ponca City and graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1958.
Judy married James W Miller at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arkansas City on June 30th 1959. They were proud parents of one daughter, Karen. Jim and Judy were both involved in retail businesses in Arkansas City, he in Miller Tire and Judy in various retail sales positions throughout their lives.
They enjoyed many trips throughout the years, chasing the World of Outlaws dirt track races all over the country and many sightseeing trips as well. Jim preceded her in death in 2017, shortly after their 58th wedding anniversary and Jim's 80th birthday.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Glen McMenomy, granddaughter Candace Voegele Daniels and niece Sheila Martin and great nephew, Chance Martin.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen and husband Ron Aupperle of Newkirk, her sister, Linda Martin of Andover Ks and many cherished nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Judy was very fond of both dogs and cats throughout her life and leaves behind her beloved Bitsy, a silky terrier and several cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cowley County Humane Society would be appreciated.
Cremation has been effected and no services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Affordable Cremation Plus of Wichita Ks.
