1981 - 2025
Kristin Lea Terronez, 43, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.
Born July 17, 1981, in Manhattan, Kansas, she was the daughter of Steve W. and Verona D. (Zeller) Tiffany. In 1988, the family moved to Council Grove where Kristin received her education, graduating from Council Grove High School in 1999.
Kristin held various jobs throughout the years, but her favorite was tending bar at Brick’s Bar & Grill in Augusta. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and was a lifelong animal lover. She loved the outdoors and was an adventurer, enjoying kayaking and camping and attending the Bluegrass Festival.
Her family includes her daughters, Poppy Terronez and Meadow Terronez, both of Winfield; her father Steve Tiffany and wife, Carol of Council Grove; her siblings, Shawn Tiffany and wife, Nicky of Council Grove; Shane Tiffany and wife, Morgan of Allen; Lindsey Forge and husband, Matt of Council Grove; Colby Crippen of Council Grove; her grandmothers, Doris Tiffany of Burwell, NE; Ramona Zeller of Manhattan; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and more friends than can be listed.
Kristin was preceded in death by her mother, Verona Schuermann and her grandfathers, Wayne Tiffany and Vernon Zeller.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A reception will follow at the Winfield Fairgrounds.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poppy or Meadow Terronez for their education. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
