Lee Hum Pasobxay, 64, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, November 19, 2025, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
Born May 1, 1961, in Thakhack, Laos, Lee was the son of Bounyor and Singma Saengsouvanna. He moved to the United States as a teenager and graduated high school from Portland, Oregon. He then attended school in Seattle, Washington and studied Electronics. He moved to Riverside, California and worked as an Automotive Mechanic for many years.
Lee was united in marriage to Kay Keosivone on June 2, 2004, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple made their home in California until 2019 when they moved to Winfield.
Lee was loyally attending the Lao Baptist Mission Church in Winfield. He was a free spirit and enjoyed being outdoors and traveling. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to music. He loved working on cars.
His family includes his wife Kay Pasobxay of Winfield; his mother Singma Saengsouvanna of Riverside, CA; his siblings, Vatasamady Saengsouvanna and husband, Sao Nanthavong of Winfield; Nick Saengsouvanna and wife, Nithila of Riverside, CA; Kason Saengsouvanna and wife, Bounyang Sisomvang of Riverside, CA; Thuey Saengsouvanna and wife, Irene of Riverside, CA; Bounpon Saengsouvanna of Riverside, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his father and by a brother Kham Saengsouvanna.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 8 P.M.
