1966 - 2025
Linda Rene Nutt, 58, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday afternoon, April 7, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Linda was born on December 27, 1966 in Ottawa, Kansas. She moved to the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center at the age of four, and remained in care homes in Winfield her entire life. At the age of 50, Linda’s siblings learned about her and became a large part of her life. She was loved and well cared for by many at the state hospital, CCL, and ResCare.
Her family includes her siblings, Connie Webster and husband, Clay of Oregon; Tammy Brown of Topeka; Nancy Mills of Burden; Bob Nutt of Ottawa; John Nutt and wife, Michelle of Ottawa; numerous nieces and nephews; and many caregivers.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
A memorial has been established in Linda’s name for ResCare. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
