MaLinda Kay French, 62, of Wellington, Kansas died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born on March 29, 1963 in Idabel, Oklahoma. MaLinda had lived in Tom, Oklahoma until moving to Wellington over 25 years ago.
Through the years she had operated a daycare and work for U.S.D. #353 in the school cafeteria. She enjoyed sewing, working on cars and dressing up her dog “Gigi”.
Survivors include her two children Bobby Nelson of Wylie, Texas and Angla Nelson of Canton, Texas; brother Larry Everheart of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister Pearl Fayette Dillard of Tom, Okla.,; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
MaLinda is preceded in death by her father James Dillard; mother JoAnne Greeno Dillard; brothers Daniel Bradley Dillard and James Daniel Dillard.
Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
