Randy Lee Bruton, 67, of Arkansas City, Kansas, died on May 19, 2025, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, Kansas.
Randy attended Washington Elementary and Arkansas City High School, graduating in 1975. If you knew Randy, you probably had a good story to tell. He was truly the life of the party! He enjoyed setting trot lines in the Arkansas River, water skiing at Beaver Lake, Arkansas, working on cars and rock and roll. Randy had a magnificent garden every year, producing the very best hot peppers. He excelled in cooking fabulous meals.
Randy is survived by brother Ronnie (Becky), his lifelong love, Cathy (Brister) Bruton and their son, Ryan (Ela), stepdaughter Morgan Hedrick (Max), Grandchildren Olivia and Raiden Bruton, Austin and William Hedrick, and Niece Corie Bruton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wyatt and Elsie (Kucera) Bruton, Brother Roger Bruton and Nephew Casey Bruton.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. Donations may be left in the care of Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
