Theresa S. “Terry” Britt, 71, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, December 28, 2025, at Larksfield Place Senior Living in Wichita.
Born February 17, 1954, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Woonsocket High School. She married Paul Cybulski in 1972 in Woonsocket. To this union, two children were born and the couple later divorced. She later married Vincent West. The family moved to Atlanta, Kansas. To this union, a daughter was born and the couple later divorced.
Terry was united in marriage to Neil Ivan Britt on August 3, 2002, at the Udall Nazarene Church. The couple made their first home in Atlanta and later moved to Udall. Neil preceded her in death on January 23, 2022. Terry worked for over 20 years as a cook at the Country Kitchen. She later worked at the Walmart Snack Bar before receiving her Certified Nurse’s Aide license. Terry began her career as a CNA in Rose Hill before working at Medicalodges Douglass.
She was a member of the Udall Nazarene Church. She enjoyed fishing, doing crafts, and hanging with her grandchildren. Her favorite time was time spent with family.
Her family includes her children, Jennifer Franz and husband, David of Udall; Joseph Cybulski and wife, Kristine of Haysville; Kimberley Peay and husband, Scott of Wichita; her siblings, Bruce Turcotte; Alcide Turcotte; Gail Turcotte Ferland; and Kathleen Turcotte Van Scyoc; her grandchildren, Breanna, Dakota, Levi, Cameron, Ryder, Taylor, Tali, Tori, and Jude; and her great grandchildren, Caiden, Layla, Jensen, and Athena.
Terry was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Neil.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Udall Nazarene Church under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Udall Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Terry’s name for the Udall Nazarene Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
