Todd “TJ” Curtis, 46, of Mulvane, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024.
Born September 5, 1978 in Arkansas City, Kansas, he was the son of Robert “Bob” and Debra (Eaton) Curtis. He was raised and received his education in Winfield and Arkansas City, attending high school in Winfield. Following high school, TJ attended Cowley College, studying to become a Machinist.
TJ was united in marriage to Amanda Jo Keeling on August 29, 2020, in Belle Plaine, Kansas. TJ worked in the shipping department for Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and Oklahoma State University sports. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and coaching his girls.
TJ’s family includes his wife Amanda Jo Curtis of Mulvane; his father Bob Curtis and wife, Vicky of Arkansas City; his mother Debra Vaughn and late husband Billy of Arkansas City; his children, Eyan Curtis of Garden City; Addy Curtis of Arkansas City; Kaitlinn Curtis of Arkansas City; Gracyn Curtis-Crow of Mulvane; Braylinn Curtis of Arkansas City; his granddaughter Evalie Curtis of Garden City; his siblings, Lynnda Pappan (Clint) of Winfield; Kris Hotchkin (Kayla) of Arkansas City; JoAnn Hotchkin of Colorado; his two dogs, Bronx and Briggs; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
TJ was preceded in death by a brother Heath Curtis and his step-father Billy Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
