Tommy was born on April 8, 1934 at the Newkirk farmhouse to parents Jesse “Dave” and Bessie “Bess” (Morris) Forbeck. He attended Braman, OK High School before being united in marriage to the love of his life, Elvena Day on June 28, 1952. They farmed in Braman with his parents then he worked at the smelter in Blackwell until 1957, when they moved to Geuda Springs to farm. Tommy loved farming, his longhorns and buying and selling cattle; he loved going to the sale barn and was extremely proud of the 15 years his daughter ran the sale barn café where he helped and helped himself to treats. He enjoyed raising his longhorn cattle, he would always ask what your rain gauge read after a rain and then share totals when talking to others, going to country music concerts, and never met a stranger always ate dessert first as a staple of a long, healthy life. He was a foundational member of the Oxford Church of Christ and loved going to Branson and Roaring River with his family. He was always supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all of their events.
Tommy is survived by his daughters, Christy Scott (Larry), Connie Morris, and Marcia Trillo, grandchildren, Ashley Morris (Kim), Lisa Dry (Justin), Amber Burr (Jeffery), Cami Jo Scott, Sarah Trillo and Tanner Trillo (Calie).
