William Cecil “Bill” Robinson, 78, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away at the Kansas Veterans’ Home in Winfield, Kansas, on October 9, 2025.
Bill was born to the late Orville Rufus and Velma Venita (Henry) Robinson in Paris, Texas on January 22, 1947. He married Carol (Ledford) Robinson on March 24, 1978. They were happily married for the last 47 years. From this union, two children were born.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter; Linda Fraley (Jim) of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Steven Robinson (Elizabeth) of Franklin, KY; along with five grandchildren, Liliana and Cameron Todd, and Emari, Arian, and Grayson Robinson. He is also survived by one brother, Jack Robinson
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Velma, siblings, Velma, Benny, Robert “Bob”, and Donald Robinson, along with a grandson, Adam Edward Allie.
Graveside services and Military Committal Honors will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
A memorial has been established in Bill’s name for the Kansas Veterans Home. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
