Freshman State Rep. Webster Roth of Winfield stopped by the KSOK/Bob FM studios Friday to talk about his first few weeks in the Kansas legislature — which included an impromptu piano recital in the governor’s mansion — his committees and big topics this session, including possible bills on the legalization of medicinal marijuana.
“In the primary and general election, I’d said that if we have a bill that presents the opportunity for people to use medical marijuana in a controlled environment, I would be supportive of it,” he said.
Roth represents the Kansas House 79th District, which includes Winfield, Belle Plaine, Oxford and Udall.
