Ark City is hosting the 5A boys state tennis Friday and Saturday, where four Bulldogs will compete.
At regionals last week, the O’Donnell brothers, Oakley and Dawson, took first place and the doubles team of Jacob Arnett and Aiden Brantley took fourth.
During the tournament kick-off ceremony Friday morning, ACHS honored J.C. Louderback — the namesake of the tennis complex where competition will take place this weekend.
“Louderback was an ACHS teacher and tennis coach for 36 years and has continued to give his all for the tennis programs in our community and state,” the school district said.
