With the Cowley College men’s tennis team coming off back-to-back national runner-up appearances and the Lady Tiger tennis team having placed in the top five each of the past two seasons, the Tiger tennis teams are picked to once again challenge for national championships.
The Tiger men are ranked No. 1 in the initial NJCAA Division I regular season rankings, and the Lady Tigers are ranked second behind only Hillsborough Community College (FL).
“This is nothing to celebrate yet, but I am happy to see the rankings,” Cowley head coach Manuel Raga said. “Our team, coaches, athletic department, and marketing department have been working so hard to help our team be successful.”
The Tiger tennis teams will face off against NCAA Division II Midwestern State University Saturday, February 18, at 9 a.m. in Wichita Falls, TX.
