The Southwestern College football team moved up a spot in the latest NAIA rankings.
The Moundbuilders, undefeated at 5-0, were ranked No. 8 in Monday’s NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Coaches’ Top 25 Rating. SC was previously No. 9.
Southwestern is the highest-ranked KCAC team in the poll. Evangel, also 5-0, moved up two spots to No. 18.
The Builders crushed Sterling Saturday in Winfield 48-10 and will be on the road Saturday night at Saint Mary (2-3) in Leavenworth.
The Spires throttled Bethany (1-4) in Lindsborg Saturday 57-18.
