The Southwestern College football team is now ranked in the NAIA’s Top 10.
The 3-0 Moundbuilders are No. 9 in the nation in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 released Tuesday.
SC moved up two spots from No. 11.
The Builders are the highest-ranked KCAC team in the poll. Evangel is the only other conference team in the rankings at No. 25. The Valor are also 3-0 and were unranked previously.
Avila and Bethel dropped out of the rankings, but are still receiving votes, along with fellow KCAC school Friends.
Southwestern travels to Tabor in Hillsboro Saturday with a 7 p.m. kickoff. Curt Caden will have the play-by-play action on 95.9 Bob FM and via the free online stream at CowleyPost.com.
