Three men from Coffeyville were arrested after midnight Sunday morning on drug charges and one with an added charge of possessing a stolen vehicle.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office activity report Monday, the men were arrested following a traffic stop at 1:26 a.m. Sunday in the 17000 block of K-360 Highway.
The men, 40-year-old old Levi Ehert, 37-year-old Brock Blumenstein and 34-year-old Brandon Pollett were arrested for possession of an opiate, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and interference with a law enforcement officer.
Pollett was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and driving while suspended.
Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti told Cowley Post Monday the vehicle was a tan 2002 Suzuki XL7 registered in Montgomery County. Coffeyville is in Montgomery County.
Pollett’s bond is $22,000 while bonds for Ehert and Blumenstein are $19,000 each.
All three remain in custody at the Cowley County Jail in Winfield, Falleti said.
Ark City man arrested for DUI, battery
An Ark City man is facing felony charges following a DUI arrest early in the morning Sunday.
According to the Cowley County Sheriff’s Office activity report Monday, deputies responded to the 1500 block of Wheat Road at 3:40 a.m. for the report of a possible impaired driver.
A traffic stop was conducted and Jordan Wilson, 23, was arrested for DUI, unlawful transport of an open container, interference with a law enforcement officer and four counts of battery on LEO.
At the Cowley County Jail in Winfield, Wilson was charged with two counts of battery on a corrections officer and criminal damage to property.
Cowley County Sheriff David Falletti told Cowley Post the battery charges on a corrections officer are felonies and that there were no serious injuries regarding any of the battery charges.
