The Ark City Fire Dept. is continuing to investigate a fire in a detached garage that occurred early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 6:40 a.m., firefighters were called to a structure fire in the 1300 block of South B. They arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the north side of the garage.
A team of three firefighters forcibly opened a locked door, entered the garage and extinguished the fire, according to fire officials.
