ACPD Arrest Two On Drug, Gun Charges


Ark City police arrested two people Monday at their home on drug and gun charges.

According to a news release from the ACPD Wednesday, officers served a search warrant at 820 South D St.

Officers located residents of the home, Jeffery Lee Snow, 62, and Brandi Jean Nichols, 48, both of Ark City.

During the home search, police say they located 4.01 grams of meth, 23 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia associated with drug sales, and a 25-cal. handgun inside the residence.

Snow was arrested and taken to the Cowley County Jail on charges of Distribution of Simulated Controlled Substances, Distribution of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Sale Paraphernalia felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of Firearm, and No Drug Tax Stamp.

His bond was set at $22,000.

Nichols was arrested and taken to the Cowley County Jail on charges of Possession of Stimulant, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her bond was listed at $4,500.
