ACHS Art Teacher Josie Krout praised her students’ efforts, noting the dedication and resilience it takes to create meaningful art.
“ACHS Art students spent countless hours developing their artistic skills. It is an exhausting and difficult process, and every project creates new challenges and lessons to be learned.”
This group of students has taken that challenge in stride, overcoming obstacles and self-doubt to create work they should be immensely proud of,” she shared.
“I get to see their effort every day, good and bad, but it is not every day that I get to help show the community how amazing my kids are and how hard they work. I am so proud of every one of these students, those who won awards and those who went unrecognized.”
These students’ accomplishments highlight their commitment to developing their skills and showcase the strength of ACHS’s art program. Events like the Cowley College Prodigy Awards provide young artists with valuable experience and well-deserved recognition, nurturing their growth and encouraging their creative journeys.
