Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor will be hosting an event on Oct. 4 about Medicare.
“Learning about Medicare plans to figure out which one is right for you can be a daunting task,” the Manor said in a press release. “Don’t get overwhelmed, let us help you instead.”
The event is titled, “Unscrambling the Mysteries: Medicare vs Medicare Advantage Plans.” It will be at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor, 1711 N. Fourth St.
The featured speaker will be Sarah Long from South-Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging.
“Her expertise will help you leave well informed to find the best plan for your needs and your budget, just in time for open enrollment which begins in November,” the Manor said.
This talk is open to all Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor residents, their families, and the community. Tours of the Manor will also be available before and after the presentation.
Anyone interested can register online at ArkansasCityPresbyterianManor.org/events-activities by Oct. 1, or contact Whitley Stokes by calling 620-442-8700 or via email [email protected].
The Medicare vs Medicare Advantage Plans event is part of Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask lifelong learning program featuring speakers and topics of interest to seniors and their adult children.
