“This grant is a significant step toward ensuring our local transportation infrastructure’s long-term safety and functionality. We’re grateful for the support from Governor Kelly, Secretary Reed, and the Kansas Department of Transportation,” City Manager Randy Frazer said.

City officials said the F Street project is essential for improving the stability and safety of a crucial transportation link for residents.

The city will provide just more than $170,000, or 15 percent, in matching funds.
