The Arkalalah Parade in Ark City is a go Saturday afternoon rain or shine, according to the festival’s Facebook page Friday.
The latest forecast has a cold, blistery Saturday in store for Ark City and rain chances of over 70 percent. Lows Saturday night might even drop to near freezing.
While the parade remains on schedule for a 2 p.m. start Saturday, the weather has canceled helicopter rides.
The crowning of the 91st Queen Alalah and Little Mr. and Miss will be tonight at 7:30 p.m. inside the Robert Brown Theater on the campus of Cowley College in Ark City.
