AUDIO: Roth, Trimmer Applaud Mutual Respect, Give Closing Pitches For Kansas House Seat

Candidates for a seat in the house of the Kansas legislature were in studio Thursday morning at KSOK and Bob FM.

Republican Webster Roth and Democrat Kris Trimmer, both of Winfield, each made their case on why voters should select them to represent the 79th District in Topeka.

The 79th District includes Winfield, Belle Plaine, Oxford and Udall.

Advanced voting continues at the Cowley County Clerk’s Office in Winfield through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Monday from 7:30 a.m. till noon. Early voting also continues through Friday in Ark City at the Water Treatment Plant from 7:30 a.m. until 4.

Drop boxes are available for mailed ballots at:

  • 321 E. 10th, Winfield
  • 119 S. Summit, Arkansas City

Polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
